Dave Franco on His Gay Fans

Ok.. when pretty got passed out, the Franco Boys got an extra helping.

Dave Franco, younger brother of James Franco is an actor in his own right.  He has been in television and movies, and has starred in the homoerotic series “Funny or Die”.

His new film, “Warm Bodies” will be released Feb 1.

 

“I know a huge audience is going to think that I am gay,” Franco says. “I’m just trying to blur the lines, I guess. I’m not consciously trying to do that, but it’s not something I think about. Like with my friends who are gay, it’s not like that’s the first thing I associate with them. They’re just another friend, and they just happen to like guys.”

Daniel Radcliffe Surprised at Media’s Gay Sex Obsession

Daniel Radcliffe, the star of the Harry Potter films, has had a varied career.  In addition to the 8 HP movies, he has starred on the stage in Equus and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (which I got see – He was great), TV and, most recently in the independent film Kill Your Darlings, in which he plays beat poet Allen Ginsberg.  The movie recently premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, and the media was full of questions… not about the murder in the movie, or the significance of the beat generation on art and culture, but sex.   Specifically gay sex.  In the movie, Radcliffe has several sex scenes with other men.  Ginsberg, after all, was gay.  According to Nick Carter of the Inependent, Daniel is “weirded out” over the focus on the sex.

“I don’t know why a gay sex scene should be any more shocking than a straight sex scene. Both of them are equally un-shocking.”

Radcliffe went on to wonder why he was getting attention about playing a gay poet, when in Equus he plays a young man sexually attracted to horses.
