Card of the Week: Good Morning Kiss
“Maybe kissing is sort of like nature’s coffee.” – Scott Westerfeld
No matter who you’re in love with, how long you’ve been together or where you met, a kiss between two people connected at the heart is something truly special. From the standard peck to the long passionate variety, kisses have inspired great works of art, unforgettable pop music and even candy. Incredible first kisses are often at the foundation of our great loves and lifelong romances. But what if you’re not around to kiss the person you love the most? What if you haven’t kissed that person yet but you’d really like to? Or what if you just want to tell someone you’re thinking about them? Our Card of the Week, Good Morning Kiss can help!
Good Morning Kiss features two men sharing “that kiss”. You know the one. The one that says, “I love you” or “You’re pretty wonderful” or sometimes says, “Sorry for being a jerk.” Like all Proudly Yours cards, the image is in gorgeous black and white and printed on high quality paper. Inside, the card reads, “Maybe kissing is sort of like nature’s coffee.” The quote is by Scott Westerfeld. Westerfeld is the author of several popular young adult novels and therefore knows a thing or two about kissing. Westerfeld suggests that kissing can wake us up and make us feel alive and we happen to think he’s onto something. A great kiss from the absolutely right person is something truly energizing and something you can’t find on your local Starbucks menu. Maybe it’s been a while since you and your significant other have shared a special kiss. Or maybe distance has made kissing a difficult activity to take part in. Whatever the case, it’s never too late to tell your special guy or gal that you can’t wait to kiss them again. We’re not saying that this card will lead to an instant make-out session but, hey, it can’t hurt, right?
Good Morning Kiss can be purchased here or these unique card and gift shops.

“”Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale.” Unknown
When you say the words “fairy tale” women like Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel, Snow White usually spring to mind. They embody the glamour, romance and happy endings of fairy tales. But to get to that happily ever, the gals in those stories had to endure a lot. Murder attempts, being held hostage in a tower, poison apples, dragons and a crazy amount of housecleaning. And you thought internet dating was difficult. This week’s Card of the Week, A Fairy Tale, celebrates the real-life fairy tales that, like the ones the Grimms wrote about, spring up out of normal lives and deliver a magic we never dreamed possible.
After a long holiday weekend filled with candlelit dinners, beautiful bouquets and decadent boxes of chocolate, A Fairy Tale is the perfect card to say, “Thank you” to your loved one. This gorgeous card features a female couple tenderly embracing in a doorway. Captured in high quality black and white photography, the card pays homage to the authentic romance that doesn’t need fairy godmothers to become a reality. An unknown author provides the quote on the inside, “Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale.” The message simply and beautifully celebrates how that special person in our life makes everyday feel like something out of a storybook. A Fairy Tale is also a perfect pick for telling a new love, “Hey. This is getting serious and I like it!” Or use A Fairy Tale to express to your longtime “heroine in shining armour” how much you still care about her. Or use it to say, “Congratulations!” to a pair of newlyweds who recently rode off into the sunset with one another.
Luckily, you don’t need a magic pumpkin or singing dwarves to get A Fairy Tale. You can order it and all of our unique cards online!

“The best and most beautiful things in this world cannot be seen or even heard, but must be felt with the heart.” Helen Keller
Hearts. Right now, images of hearts are everywhere. In store windows, on candy boxes and of course, on cards. Yes, Valentine’s Day and hearts go together like champagne and chocolate. But who says a Valentine has to have “hearts” to be from the heart? Certainly, not us! Our Card of the Week, The Best Things in the World is proof that sexy, memorable and heartfelt Valentines are sometimes the ones that stand out from the pack.
Helen Keller, a true American inspiration and original, is the author of the message on the inside of our Card of the Week. “The best and most beautiful things in this world cannot be seen or even heard, but must be felt with the heart,” the card reads. Amen to that, Madame Keller. As a company who believes in messages from the heart, we think this card is a must-send for Valentine’s Day this year. And not just because of the incredible message on the inside but the image on the front too. Or should we say, “images”. That’s right. Our Card of the Week comes into two incredible varieties! This special card features two men in an embrace in one version AND a female holding hands in the surf in the second version.
“The Best Things in the World” is also perfect on top of a birthday gift, placed on your loved one’s laptop as a “Thinking of You” card and a special greeting to celebrate a wedding or anniversary. Our Card of the Week and all of our fantastic, unique Valentines Day options are available online and at great stores around the country.

“You come to love not by finding the perfect person, but by seeing an imperfect person perfectly.” Sam Keen
Maybe she isn’t the best cook. Maybe she’s a bit of a slob. Maybe she’s always rushing to get out the door. Or maybe she’s really opinionated much to the chagrin to your subdued friends and family. But the thing is: she’s perfect. Her smile. Her kindness. Her laugh. All pretty perfect. And, most importantly, she is perfect for you. Our card of the week is the– dare we say?- perfect way to tell her how much you care.
Perfect Love features a gorgeous couple, who seem like they were truly made for one another, captured in fabulous black and white. The image is sweet and heartfelt and one we think all couples can relate to. The quote inside of this week’s card is by renowned philosopher, professor and best-selling author Sam Keen. Highly lauded for his intelligence and astute observations of human relationships, Mr. Keen states,””You come to love not by finding the perfect person, but by seeing an imperfect person perfectly.” This makes sense to us because how else could our incredible partners manage to love us so deeply despite our less than perfect behaviors? The sentiment is a good one for this time of year too. Instead of worrying about having the most perfect, over-the-Valentines day ever why not choose thoughtful and memorable actions to really let them know how you feel? Our cards can help you do just that. “Perfect Love” not only makes a great Valentine but is wonderful way to say “Congratulations!” to newlyweds or “Happy Anniversary” to a couple celebrating years of perfectly imperfect wedded bliss.
